Welcome to Astro-News!
Today we focus on URANUS ALSO KNOWN AS THE JOKERMAN, the Wild-card and the Rebel.
We have three segments to this program. In the first part, we will look into Uranus' transit THROUGH Aries and it's manifestation in current events. In the second part, we will see how it affects you in your personal life.
URANUS represents the unpredictable, disruptive, and unique. A planet so impossible to categorize, that the mere attempt to define what it rules is an oxymoron. ARIES, ruled by Mars the god of war, is the sign of spring, liberation, leadership and new beginning.
In June, July and August of 2010, Uranus made a short swift visit in Aries but because its retrograde motion he moved back to Pisces. Only in March 11 did Uranus finally settle in Aries where he will stay for 7 years.
Astrology is not a fortune telling tool. It is not interested in what will happen, but rather, in what has happened. Astrologers agree with historians who claim that history repeats itself. Therefore by looking at the past and tracing repetitive cycles, astrologers discovered patterns that can also be projected towards the future.
For thousands of years, all over the globe, wise men and women gazed at the stars and found a correlation between the cycles of the planets and events on earth. Intellectual towers the likes of Benjamin Franklin, Johannes Kepler, Newton, Galileo, Ptolemy, Augustus, Churchill, and St. Thomas Aquinas, just to name a few, developed and used astrology creating a technical support manual for life under the stars.
Neptune has moved to Pisces, its own home. Neptune, the ancient god of the sea, feels most comfortable in his place deep in the Piscean ocean.
- Astrologers and Astronomers have known about the issues presented in the "Astrology refuting hoax" for thousands of years and CHOSE NOT to include a 13th constellation.
There is nothing new about the 13th constellation or the shift in the signs. The ancient Greeks, who were the first to cast astrological "Natal Charts," were quite aware of these two issues. In fact, Claudius Ptolemy wrote extensively about the 13th sign and the procession of the equinox in the 2nd century AD. As you can see, there is nothing new under the Sun.
Ophiuchus, the so called 13th sign, was not adopted into Astrology because the Sun barely touches the constellation during its path through the Zodiac. It also doesn't fit into the Babylonians' sexagesimal system that is based on 60 and 12. That is why we have 60 minutes in an hour and two sets of 12 hours in a day. That is also the reason behind the decision to have 12 signs in the Zodiac and not 13.
With all due respect, most of the people who rebuke Astrology have little knowledge about the ancient art. Intellectual giants the like of Johannes Kepler (considered by many the father of modern astronomy), Copernicus, Tycho Brahe, Carl Jung, Benjamin Franklin and Sir Isaac Newton all knew about these two anomalies in Astrology. However, they continued to practice, study and develop astrological theories that resulted in amazing predictions and insights.
1 - Astrology is based on the seasons and the relationships between the planets (called aspects) and NOT what constellation is located behind the Sun when you were born.
The signs of the Zodiac are merely symbols and metaphors that divide the year into 12 different and equal "seasons". This partition is based on the proportions of day and night or light and darkness experienced throughout the year. Aries always begins on the first day of spring (aka the Spring Equinox), when the day and night are equal and the amount of light is growing. Libra, on the other hand, always begins on the Fall Equinox, when the day and night are also equal, but the amount of light is receding.
Astrology postulates, regardless of what constellation occupies the Equinox, that people born in the spring will exhibit characteristics such as high energy and optimism. They will be the kind of people who spring into action, the same way that nature buds into life after its long winter slumber.
A new study, published by the Nature Neuroscience Journal, found links between the season of birth and personality. It is proven that people born in the winter, i.e. Capricorns, are more at risk to suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), schizophrenia and depression. In Astrology, Capricorn, beginning on the longest night of the year, is associated with suffering, difficulties and pessimism. To quote the author of the paper, Professor Douglas McMahon, "Our biological clocks measure the day's length and change our behavior according to the seasons."
Now let's look at Venus Retrograde. Every 18 months Venus retrogrades for about 40 days. At this time you will be asked to reexamine your relationships, especially the closest and most intimate. You will be surprised by how many times a day people will want to know that you love them. To avoid conflict, profess your love as often as you can. However, take heed not to lie. Venus in Scorpio can see right through deception and her wrath can be bloody indeed if she catches you being insincere. Since Mars is also transiting in Scorpio, he will serve as her knight executing her biddings. Spend as much time as you can in water, long baths with salt water can calm her down and maybe even put her bodyguard to rest.
During Venus retrograde it is not recommended to sign documents, forge partnerships, open a new business or take loans. However, refinancing could actually work well very well. Please avoid buying expensive products, but you are more than welcome to purchase second hands goods. It is also considered to be a great time to ask for forgiveness and resolve old grudges.
As for the midterm election: since it will take place during Venus retrograde and Via Combusta, expect the unexpected and throw away the polls, they will all be wrong. In addition, to be true to the energies I just described, even astrologers' predictions should not be taken too seriously since who knows on what side Venus will wake up November 2nd.
My only suggestion is to not be afraid to burn the old since a resurrection is sure to come. Remember, the planets are with you, and we are nothing but verses in an ancient epic cosmic poem.

June 26th Partial Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn. This the first of two major eclipses this summer. The eclipses affects everyone on the planet (including the Vs and other illegal aliens), but people born around March 21-28 (Aries), June 21-28 (Cancer), Sep 22-27 (Libra), and Dec 21-28 (Capricorn) will feel the influences far more than others. Below you will find some suggestions how to deal with the upcoming events. Lunar eclipses traditionally affect women, families and inner processes, revealing and exposing hidden issues that we rather not deal with. Lovely... To make it more dramatic and to raise the stakes, Pluto, the Lord of transformation, death, and sexuality sits RIGHT on the Moon at the moment of the eclipse. This will add some darkness and saturate the energy with a touch of Vampire blood, intrigues, paranoia, and manipulations. Communication can really help: say what you feel, don't let us guess what you are going through because chances are that we will be completely wrong.
July 11th is a total Solar Eclipse, far more powerful than the Lunar eclipse. This will affect governments, men and external events and politicians. People born in the middle of the cardinal signs will feel it more acutely: April 3-9 (Aries), July 6-12 (Cancer), October 6-13 (Libra), and Jan 4-10 (Capricorn). What makes these eclipses more powerful is the fact that they occur in conjunction with the Grand Crosses. These rare aspects will make us all feel torn between opposing forces, pitting allies against each other and forcing us to choose sides. This will happen on all levels, and even if you feel very balanced your neighbors might freak out or your in-laws decide to act out so just take it easy around those dates and be present. The eclipse touches major points in the chart of the US, European Union chart, UK chart and the Federal Reserve chart as well as the United Nation's chart. All these institutions will somehow make it to the front page of your favorite newspapers.
Pay extra attention to projects, intentions, ideas, and relationships that begin between the 11th and 25th of July. These processes will influence and color your life for the next six months.
These astrological configurations are not here to break us or make our life miserable. They are part of the spiritual climate change that is designed to helps us grown, get rid of excesses, and build our character. And no, it's nothing to do with 2012. The Mayan prophesies will not come true, that is, unless America decides for some reason to elect Sarah Palin as the 45th President of the United States.
Suggestion of how to deal with these aspects:
Don't be reactive -- There will be many spiritual traps designed to cause you to act out. Resist.
Do not instigate -- Be active but don't cause trouble to yourself or others. Choose your battles wisely.
Forgive -- The water of compassion will be able to put out most of the fires caused by the eclipses.
Ask for an explanation, don't be quick to judge -- Give people a second chance. Most humans don't get to receive free astrological advice of what's happening up there like you did.
Patience -- See above.
Try again, don't give up -- You might be tested how serious you are about getting what you want.
Government -- Like it or not most governments are nothing more than legal mafias. However hard it will be for you, for them it's gonna be a much worse. Check your visas, passport, and papers. Don't piss the police.
Besides that, have a great summer, this a grad opportunity to make a quantum leap in your personal growth. It will bring a great deal of opportunities, creativity and success to people who are conscious of the State of the Skies...
How to Get Along with Geminis
When you meet a Gemini for the first time, make sure you have valuable information to share. Deliver the information in a short and entertaining manner. Remember the three-to-five-minute law.
If Geminis start scratching their head, playing with their hair, or fidgeting, it means one thing: you are boring them. Change the subject and let the Gemini do the talking.
Try to address both sides of the Geminis dual nature. For example, a Gemini who obsesses over superficialities like shoes, manicures, and which bar stands as the hottest this week might also harbor a deep interest in spirituality. Therefore, go ahead and play with her, but then invite her to a spiritual gathering. She will love the fact that you have acknowledged both sides of her personality.
Introduce your Gemini friends to other people. Geminis value contacts and connections more than anything else.
Flaunt your intellectual side. Share the knowledge you have. The Gemini needs to be stimulated.
How to Get Along with a Taurus - www.CosmicNavigator.com
• To make a Taurus happy, you must address all five senses. Its vital to cook
well, look good, smell sweet, sing well, and touch, touch, touch. For example,
if you prepare a dinner for a Taurus, add music to background, light
fragrant candles, and present the food artistically. The entire sensory
experience matters.
• Never talk business when the Taurus is hungry or uncomfortable.
• Dont be cheap. Think luxury.
• Compliment the Taurus on how she looks and dresses, as well as the car
she drives.
• If a Taurus insists on talking about a particular subject, dont try to
persuade her otherwise. If she feels that you are trying to change her,
the Taurus will stubbornly dig in and refuse to move.
• Help the Taurus see, appreciate, and invest in her talents. Support all of
the Tauruss artistic endeavors.
How to Get Along with Aries
from Cosmic Navigator by Gahl Sasson
March 20th is Spring Equinox, the Astrological New Years, as well as the Biblical New Year. It is also the beginning of the Persian and Bahá'í calendars. Mother Day is celebrated on this day in many Arab countries, maybe because of the ancient association between the goddess of dawn and the Spring Equinox, but I doubt they will be very pleased with this connection. If you live in Los Angeles, I will be doing a workshop on Spring Equinox, Passover, and Easter the 24th of March.
On Spring Equinox the great feathered serpent of Kukulkan climbs the Chichen Itza pyramid, offering himself for sacrifice, just as Attis, the vegetation god of Phrygia sacrificed himself only to resurrect three days later. Sounds familiar?
The Astrology of 2010 Part 2. Focus on the Law of Beginning. The year 2010 started with an eclipse, Full Moon and Mars as well as Mercury retrograding. Also, 2010 in Numerology adds up to three, the energy of Saturn and the Sphere of Understanding from the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.
