No on Prop 8 - Without Sounding too Negative

No on 8 is a Positive Act

Very funny video, Gahl-- a great way to draw out how ridiculous proposition 8 is! If you tack on your proposals as amendments to the original bill (8) it would be very interesting to watch the fall-out! I just want to add: saying "No" to Prop 8 is an affirmative act: affirmative of the beauty and diversity of life, of our capacity (and vast potential) to love and to see each other, and ourselves, more fully. The fear that blinds people to this state and this potential is the true obstacle and the loss. If we as a society are really interested in dictating the most intimate aspects of individuals' lives, perhaps we need a bill dictating people learn to walk into their fears and face them, deal with them and come to understand them head on.
