People all over the world are willing to kill and die in the name of their mythology or religion. Why? What is so compelling about storytelling and religious philosophy that generates so much bloodshed? In this workshop we will look into the difference between mythology and religion, and try to answer some of these questions. We will use the siege of the church of Nativity (2002) to illustrate these ideas. The logic that will be represented in the workshop is that if myths can kill then myths can also heal.
