Here we go again, the retrograde season is upon us. You have a few days before Mercury goes retrograde (August 4 – 30). Mercury will appear to reverse his motion in Virgo (health issues, problems at work, routine, and diet) and then in Leo (misunderstandings around children, romantic lovers, sports, hobbies, and entertainment).

August 19 is Tu B’Av, the Biblical celebration of love taking place on the Full Moon in Aquarius. An auspicious day for reconnecting to your happiness and love.

Hope to see you in person or digitally!

  • August 1 – September 4 (Neptune sextile Pluto): This benevolent aspect blesses the entire month. Intuition, insights from meditation, trance work, and channeling can assist in coming up with practical solutions. Pay attention to dreams and omens.
  • August 2 (Venus square Uranus): Today’s madness and unexpected events might awaken your partnerships as well as your finances. Individuals may behave unpredictably and out of character.
  • August 4 (New Moon in Leo): Regrettably, Mercury is stationary on the New Moon, so whatever you initiate might remain stuck at the early stages. However, it could be an opportune time to start projects related to sports, children, creativity, entertainment, hobbies, and romance. With Mars and Jupiter promoting passion and luck, it’s a time for enjoyment.
  • August 4 – 5 (Mercury stationary in Virgo): Although Mercury is exalted, he remains largely stationary during these two days. Reflect on how you serve others and yourself. Consider it a day for health contemplation.
  • August 5 (Venus in Virgo until August 29): Venus doesn’t like to be in Virgo, she feels like a supermodel forced to dress in a nun’s uniform. There’s more scrutiny and judgment with your primary relationships. A good time to look into your expenses and balance the sheets. Beware of being overcritical, perfectionist, and overanalytical.
  • August 6 – August 14 (Mercury retrograde in Virgo): Refrain from signing documents and launching new endeavors. However, it’s suitable for revisiting past incomplete projects. Note that August 14 isn’t the end of the retrograde; Mercury will then continue retrograding but in Leo.
  • August 6 – 8 (Sun sextile Jupiter): Utilize this window of opportunity to communicate in ways that foster cooperation and harmony. Acts of kindness today may yield manifold returns.
  • August 7 (Beginning of the Astrology training): Learn to Read Your Own Chart and Benefit from the Wisdom of Astrology – Become your own astrologer!
  • August 8 (Mercury conjunct Venus): Merge logic and artistry, marketing and creativity, as well as improve relationships with siblings, relatives, and neighbors.
  • August 13 – 16 (Mars conjunct Jupiter):  It’s as if a turbo feature has been added to your spacecraft, accelerating progress even during the retrograde. It’s a favorable period for leadership, exercise, and embracing your outgoing side. Given the conjunction occurs in Taurus, remain focused, grounded, and deliberate.
  • August 15 – August 27 (Mercury retrograde in Leo): Anticipate heightened drama. Misunderstandings might come across more theatrically. As Leo amplifies messages, exercise caution in communications. Leo serves as a megaphone, be extra careful what you say and write.
  • August 15 – 17 (Mars square Saturn): Discord, anger, and unfocused action. This aspect introduces tension, impulsiveness, and scattered efforts. You might feel overwhelmed, facing conflicts and potential aggression among colleagues.
  • August 16 – 24 (Jupiter square Saturn): It’s a challenging week, with myriad obstacles emerging. You may be compelled into unwanted actions or entangled in others’ disputes. The ongoing retrograde and concurrent squares exacerbate tensions (listed below).
  • August 17 – August 19 (Mercury square Uranus):  This period lacks harmony. Guard against an overpowering desire for freedom or rebellion. Watch for technical glitches, system shutdowns, cyber threats, and unsettling messages.
  • August 19 (Full Moon in Aquarius): Recognized as the Biblical Day of Love, it’s a day traditionally spent with loved ones. However, Uranus introduces unpredictable elements to this Full Moon, urging caution. Concurrently, the Mercury-Sun conjunction emphasizes the need for dialogue and creativity but could invite melodrama.
  • August 19 – 20 (Sun squares Uranus): Arguments, rebellion, with the joker laughing at you. Your ideas and suggestions might come out stranger and more eccentric than you hoped. Flakiness and people behaving in an unexpected fashion.
  • August 21 – 24 (Venus square Mars): The worst time for partnerships and relationships. Financial wastage, arguments, and breakups. This is augmented by the retrograde, so take heed.
  • August 22 (Sun in Virgo until September 22): We are all Virgos for the next 30 days. We are asked to focus and refine our diet, health, routine, work, and how we serve. An ideal time to eliminate impediments to health and productivity.
  • August 26 – 27 (Venus trine Uranus): A refreshing respite after recent challenges. Connect with innovative ingenious thinkers. A splendid period for art, technology, e-commerce, startups, and unique, beautiful endeavors.
  • August 28 – 29 (Mercury stationary in Leo): Once again, during stationary, take your time, and avoid activities requiring precise coordination. From August 30, Mercury is direct, and your life can start again.  Be extra careful these days since Venus is opposite Neptune, which can bring about illusion, deception, and addiction.
  • August 29 (Venus in Libra until September 23): Venus returns to her home and relationship can blossom, especially since the retrograde ended. Art, design, justice, and improved diplomacy can help promote peace and understanding.
  • August 30 (Mercury direct in Leo): Finally, momentum returns to all life aspects. However, consider waiting a week or two before embarking on major projects, ensuring Mercury’s shadow period has passed.
