Today, we are released from Mercury and Saturn retrogrades, which is excellent news. In addition, throughout the first part of December, Saturn (focus, practicality) is aligned with Jupiter (expansion, opportunities). This is terrific tidings, as it allows us to get things done and close out 2025 without hindrance.

This week, December 4, we are blessed with a Gemini Supermoon – an opposition between lies and truth. Gemini (information) is the opposite sign of Sagittarius (truth). Still, they’re not pitted against each other as much as complementing one another, as do all opposite signs (Aries-Libra, Taurus-Scorpio, Cancer-Capricorn, Leo-Aquarius, Virgo-Pisces). In the case of the axis of Gemini/Sagittarius, it’s focused on information and how one must spread it. Gemini governs data and information, but to be worth communicating and spreading (Sagittarius – the sign of education and mass communication), it had better be truthful and authentic, both of which are associated with Sagittarius. This Full Moon can help you in your business, teaching, learning, marketing, and improve relationships with relatives, siblings, and neighbours.

Next week, take extra care of what you say and write, as the Black Moon Lilith will be causing trouble.  But we are blessed with a great deal of protection that, unfortunately, will fade away by the end of this year, and 2026 is arriving with a bang.

DATES

December 1–7 (Jupiter trine Saturn): The auspicious connection between the archetype of expansion and that of focus continues to help you accomplish your goals.

December 4 (Full Moon in Gemini): This is an optimal moment to finalize projects. As this is the year’s last Full Moon, it’s a good time to begin the year’s closure.

December 5–6 (Mercury trine Jupiter): A positive flow between the messenger and the teacher enhances your ability to learn, teach, travel, and publish. This is a good aspect for marketing, sales, signing documents, and leaving a mark on the world. A lucky triangle forms between Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn, providing protection and a sense of direction.

December 8–9 (Mars squares Saturn): This is a party-pooping aspect. Right when the triangle was bestowing luck and opportunities, Mars comes to cause trouble. I call it the fascist aspect – symbols and sigils abused in the service of war and intimidation. People are fortified in their ideas, actions, and beliefs.

December 10–11 (Mercury opposite Uranus): While it is an aspect that can bring about a great deal of originality, there is also madness, unpredictability, and disruptions. Be extra careful of people promising things they cannot deliver.

December 11 (Mercury enters Sagittarius until January 1, 2026): Mercury is not happy in Sagittarius, and you might experience this transit as a latent Mercury retrograde. However, it is good for traveling and businesses abroad as well as for education.

December 13–15 (Mars squares Neptune): We are entering a season of squares, so tread slowly. This is an aspect that can reduce the immune system and your emotional defense. There is a great deal of deception and illusion. Be careful of sharp objects. There is also a tendency to relapse into old addictions, dependency, and codependency. Self-destruction is also an issue these days. December 14 is Hannukkah – the celebration of light vanquishing darkness, compassion overcoming ignorance.

December 15 (Mars enters Capricorn until January 26, 2026): Mars is exalted and happy to march forward. Make sure you give him a mission—something you need help conquering or mastering. This is a good aspect for leadership and initiation. A call for action is coming; make sure not to refuse the call.

December 16–17 (Sun square Saturn): Issues with father figures or bosses, a sense of repression and heaviness, sadness, and depression. The Sun is covered with a layer of clouds.

December 20 (New Moon in Sagittarius): This is a difficult New Moon with Neptune and Saturn sending squares all over the place. It’s not the best time to start new projects. Be careful of aggression and anger. There is a sense of war approaching. Lay low and be vigilant.

December 20 (Lilith enters Sagittarius): We are better off with Lilith, the Mother of Demons, in the sign of optimism and luck than having her where she was most of the year, in deadly Scorpio. There could be discord with students and teachers, as well as foreigners. Take extra care when traveling. Lilith can generate xenophobia, misinformation, disinformation, preachiness, and religious fanaticism.

December 20–21 (Sun square Neptune while Venus square Saturn): As mentioned, the end of December is challenging, so make sure you do your holiday shopping before. This aspect can demonstrate wastefulness, discord in primary relationships, misleading intuition, nightmares, daydreaming, and a general sense of laziness.

December 21 (Sun enters Capricorn until January 20, 2026): Celebrate the Solstice, the “Gateway of Gods.” As one of the four sacred astrological days, your spiritual connection peaks. The ensuing month calls for Capricorn-like discipline and focus. Strategize the year ahead, bearing in mind that patience is vital. If you are in Istanbul and a member of the Soho Club, I am doing a free workshop at 7pm.

December 23–26 (Venus squares Neptune): Not the best aspect for Christmas. It feels like the Grinch is stealing the holiday season. Moodiness, betrayal, extramarital affairs, loss of money, and unexpected expenses. Go to sleep and ask your prince (or princess) charming to wake you up next year.

December 24 (Venus enters Capricorn until January 17, 2026): This transit of Venus can help you improve relationships with people who are older, long-term partnerships, and bosses and superiors. This is a time to connect art and design to your professional life. December 30 (Mercury square Saturn): The Grinch continues with some negative thoughts and a feeling of loss. Words taken out of context, false accusations, and disinformation.

Dec 24-25 (Christmas): Merry Christmas! The Tree of Life is coming to your living room, in the onset of winter, bringing an evergreen to remind you that life continues.

December 30 (Mercury square Saturn): The Grinch continues with some negative thoughts and a feeling of loss. Words taken out of context, false accusations, and disinformation.
