July Dates:
Welcome to the month of unpredictability, encounters with remarkable people, and unpredictable twists and changes in an already convoluted 2025 plot. Why? Well, Uranus, The Joker, The Awakener, is changing signs from earthbound Taurus, where he has been grounded since 2018, into Gemini, an air sign that fits his vibe much more.
Uranus, the planet of technology, moves to the binary sign of Gemini for the first time in 84 years on July 7. Everyone’s IQ is augmented, and we can expect significant scientific breakthroughs, especially in healthcare, computing, AI, quantum technology, aerospace, and possibly communications with aliens (from 2026, Uranus will settle in Gemini for six years). I believe we will see sparks of AGI during this monumental transit of the sky god in the mutable air sign of the Twins. Since Uranus can also be disruptive and inspire revolutions and rebellion, being in Gemini, the sign of siblings and relatives, we can expect some civil unrest, especially with Pluto being in Aquarius. However, we are fortunate to have until August, as Pluto (transformation) and Uranus (innovation) are in perfect harmony, as both will be in air signs. That’s good on all levels, and we certainly need some good news.
In addition, Jupiter is in his sign of exaltation, great for real estate and healing familial relationships or getting your dream house or starting a family. And yes, Neptune and Saturn are locked in their terrible conjunction, but on that we will expand later. The best time to focus on the home is around the Full Moon in Capricorn, July 10.
July 4 (Venus conjunct Uranus): Venus revisits Uranus, the revolutionary mad professor. Relationships can be exciting and full of unpredictability. There is a need for freedom and exploration of new frontiers with your finances, relationships, and artistic expression. Embrace the original and unique. Be extra aware of potential volatility in the market.
July 4 (Venus enters Gemini until July 31): Venus begins her flirtation with Gemini. Since the Tarot card of Gemini is “The Lovers,” these next few weeks can bring you in contact with a potential lover or work partner. Art and communication link, making this a great time for marketing, sales, design, and making new connections.
July 4 (Neptune retrogrades until December 12): Be extra careful with deceptions, illusions, confusion, and relapses of past addictions and codependent relationships. However, it’s a good time to return to meditation, yoga, dance, or any movement or mystical practices that served you in the past. Keep a dream journal; you might get many messages from your subconscious.
July 6–7 (Venus trine Pluto): This aspect is great for investments, productions, working with other people’s money and talents, and participating in larger-than-life projects. Improved relationships with significant others and work partners.
July 7 (Uranus enters Gemini until November 8): The planet of technology moves to the binary sign of Gemini for the first time in 84 years. Everyone’s IQ is augmented, and we can expect significant scientific breakthroughs, especially in healthcare, computing, AI, quantum technology, aerospace, and possibly communications with aliens (from 2026, Uranus will settle in Gemini for seven years).
July 10 (Full Moon in Capricorn): The lunation can bring about an opposition between your need to focus on home and career. The Moon is exiled in Capricorn and can create a sense of emotionality and longing for a paradise lost. However, Mars is sending his troops to help, and with a bit of action, determination, and a clear mission, you can disperse the emotional confusion of the Full Moon and get things done.
July 12 (Saturn retrogrades until November 29): Lord Karma is retrograding, taking us back in time to previous lives. Actions from your current life and past ones are creating a reaction. It might be harder to connect to discipline. Your goals might need to be adjusted and refined. There also could be issues with superiors and authority figures.
July 17–18 (Mercury stationary in Leo): As Prince suggested in his song Positivity, “Hold on to your soul, we got a long way to go!” A good time for meditation and anchoring things in your life that you want to keep going for a while.
July 19 (Mercury retrograde until August 12): The Queen (Leo) of Hearts (the organ ruled by Leo) is screaming, “Off with their head!” You know the drill. Avoid signing documents and starting new projects. Watch your relationships and communication with kids, lovers, and people with big egos.
July 21–24 (Venus squares Mars): The celestial lovers are filing for divorce. All types of relationships can be challenged these days, whether personal or professional. Find it in your heart to have compassion for your significant others and those surrounding you. However, you might find that some of these challenges lead you to new talents and income potential. Don’t make rash decisions regarding breakups or unions with partners.
July 22 (Sun enters Leo until August 22): Connect to your inner lion during these 30 days. Engage in creative, joyful, and heartwarming activities. Generosity, nobility, chivalry, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm guide us this month. It’s a great time to connect to a hobby or a new sport.
July 23–25 (Sun trine Saturn and Neptune): One good thing about the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune is that when the Sun trines one, he also trines the other. This means we have a wonderful flow of vitality, intuition, healing, and the ability to bring new structure into our lives. This is a glorious aspect, and you can benefit from creative visualizations, meditation, dance, and any form of self-expression.
July 24 (New Moon in Leo): This is not an easy New Moon since it is opposite Pluto and can bring about confrontations with powerful figures whose motivations are unclear. With Mercury retrograding in Leo, it’s not the best time to start something new, but you could initiate a project you already tried before and failed to complete.
July 30 (Chiron goes retrograde until January 4, 2026): The Wounded Healer retrograding allows us to go deeper into our healing and overcome issues with identity and self-expression. It’s a time to connect to shamanism, herbology, and physical therapy.
July 31 (Sun conjunct Mercury): This is a great aspect for intellectual clarity and the ability to express yourself and your ideas. Either you or someone around you can serve as an angel or a messenger. There is a great deal of logic and intuition, objectivity and subjectivity.
July 31 (Venus enters Cancer until August 25): Venus is putting on her swimsuit and jumping into the waters of Cancer. In the Tarot cards, the Two of Cups, dubbed “Love,” is the best description of this transit. Marriage, social events with family members, and harmonious flow with family members.
