June Astro Highlights

At the end of May, Saturn, the Lord Karma, associated with what our soul wishes to rectify (Tikkun), has finished a 30-year orbit around the zodiac and has returned to Aries, the first of his kind, the sign of identity, new beginnings, war, and leadership. As mentioned, this cycle happens once in 30 years; however, marching alongside Saturn, is Neptune, the planet of mysticism, ideals, and dreams. Neptune also completed a cycle around the zodiac (his lasted 165 years) and now graces Aries with his holy waters. The last conjunction of the two planets in the first degrees of the zodiac has not occurred since humans domesticated cats and began creating the first agricultural settlements approximately 9,000 years ago.

On a global level, it is enough to open the news to see how these heavenly motions manifest here on earth. Saturn (challenges) and Neptune (illusions) are misguiding our already clueless leaders, who have no idea where they are or where they are heading. On a personal level, these challenging aspects can manifest as a general feeling of fatigue, lack of enthusiasm, depression, nightmares, and an unclear sense of our future.

However! Some good news takes place in June, as Jupiter, the planet representing opportunities and expansion, is emerging from his sign of exile, Gemini, into his sign of exaltation, Cancer. Just a reminder, when Jupiter was in his sign of fall, Capricorn, he was unable to help us, leaving us to deal with the 2020 pandemic on our own. So there you have it, in 2025 and the first part of 2026, we will experience Saturn in Aries (fire) in his sign of fall, and Jupiter in Cancer (water) in his sign of exaltation. A true alchemical laboratory of water and fire. The workshops in London (AlchemyInner CriticShadow Work), which are also available as webinars, are designed to help navigate these challenging times.

And now for the important astro dates of June…

June 4–8 (Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars in minor benevolent aspects): The month kicks off with short-lived graceful windows of opportunities that can improve sales, communication, writing, health, education, and art.

June 6 (Venus enters Taurus until July 4): Venus is happy to be back home to her sign and could lend a helping hand in matters of art, finances, and security. You will experience your five senses in a much stronger way than usual, perhaps getting a glimpse of the sixth one as well. It’s a great time to connect to an artistic project or talent and relink your gifts to the way you generate your income.

June 8 (Mercury conjunct Jupiter): The philosopher and engineer come together to offer help with studies, teaching, writing, travel, and mass media. It’s a great day for communication and publishing, but be aware that Saturn is tainting this aspect with frustration and delays. The two intellectual guides, Mercury and Jupiter, are conjoining in the last degree of Gemini. While Jupiter is impatient to finally move into his sign of exaltation, Mercury laments that he needs to leave his domicile in Gemini and dive into emotional Cancer. Therefore, use these transits to look at things from above and connect the dots instead of being too binary or particular.

June 8 (Mercury enters Cancer until June 26): Mercury in Cancer favors “I feel” over “I think.” It is not a terrible position for Mercury; after all, it is easier to recall information if it carries an emotional component. It’s a great transit for healing relationships with family members. Don’t be afraid of expressing your feelings.
June 9 (Mercury squares Neptune and Saturn): Two challenging aspects come together. It’s a day you should relax and avoid big projects. There is deception, lies, theft, and disinformation. Monkey mind is out of the cage, causing us to jump from one subject or project to the other.

June 9–10 (Venus squares Pluto): The challenges of the day are emphasized by this hard aspect. Breakups, manipulation, and discord with people of power.

June 9 (Jupiter enters Cancer until June 30, 2026): This is great news for us all. Wherever you have Cancer in your chart (planets or houses) will experience breakthroughs and opportunities. Jupiter leaves his sign of exile where he could not share his bounty freely and moves into his sign of exaltation, thus the king of the gods and goddesses is able to bestow his grace upon us. This is a great year for real estate, healing familial relationships, connecting to fortune and abundance, and opening new doors. Be careful of overdoing and overcommitments.

June 10 (Saturn conjunct Neptune until August 23): Two and a half months of a challenging aspect connecting Saturn (karma) and Neptune (self-destruction). The conjunction takes place on the cusp of Pisces and Aries. Like everything in life, it is a blessing and a curse. While your intuition, ability to meditate, and connect to your dreams is enhanced, so would your self-destructiveness, addictions, and escapism. Tread carefully, and watch out for fanaticism or being too attached to your beliefs.

June 10–20 (Jupiter squares Saturn): Jupiter (opportunities) is stifled by Saturn (restrictions). There is a tendency to place your energy, love, and creativity in the wrong places. Limiting circumstances, your work goes unappreciated, and you might feel sadness and despondency. However, it is a good time to change direction and try a new way of approaching your goals.

June 11 (Full Moon in Sagittarius): A blessed Full Moon in a challenging month. Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, is exalted, creating what is called “Mutual Reception” with the Moon. This is an auspicious aspect and can facilitate your personal as well as professional life. It’s a wonderful time to complete a cycle of learning and get ready for something new. Great for travel, especially by water or to a location close to the water. Mars gives a boost of energy to the lunation. Stay away from inauthenticity to receive the magic of the Moon.

June 13–16 (Mars squares Uranus): Mars and Uranus are joining the already difficult aspects of June with their own set of challenges. Be extra careful of accidents, impulsiveness, explosive behaviors, and misplaced energy. Mars is out of control and seeks freedom. There is a strong urge to break free.

June 15–21 (Jupiter square Neptune): The two rulers of Pisces are arguing while Neptune is also conjunct the Lord Karma, Saturn. If you were a pilot, I would tell you to ground your plane, and if you were a captain, to return your vessel back to port. There could be a sense of overwhelmed emotional distress. We are drowning in a sea of confusion. It is vital to meditate and spend time in nature. Whatever helps you focus, this is the time to do it. June is a tough month, but crisis always brings opportunities if you are willing to change direction and try new approaches.

June 17 (Mars enters Virgo until August 6): Mars in Virgo gets things done. He is the watchmaker, the engineer, the organizer—here to protect and serve. Conflicts can arise if you are too critical of yourself and others. It’s a good time for diets and a new health regimen. You can make things happen as long as you stick to a strict routine.

June 21 (Sun enters Cancer until July 22): Happy Solstice! One of the four holiest days of the year. Today is dubbed the “Gateway of Humanity,” the original concept of baptism and purification of the waters of compassion. For the next month, we are all Cancers. Use “I feel” instead of “I think,” and open your heart to your family. Perhaps you might meet family members from past lives. It’s a great month to renovate and remodel your home, relocate, move in with someone, get a new property, or start a family.

June 24–25 (Sun conjunct Jupiter): There is help coming your way, a mentor, teacher, or guide. This aspect feels like a lighthouse in a stormy month.

June 25 (New Moon in Cancer): The Moon returns home to Cancer, providing a new beginning that involves home and family, real estate, security, and emotional support. With Jupiter exalted in Cancer, blessing the union of the Sun and Moon, this is a great time to start new projects. Besides Pluto, there are no planets retrograde, so full steam ahead!

June 26 (Mercury in Leo until September 3): This Mercury transit can be extremely creative, entertaining, and exciting.

June 27–28 (Mercury trine Saturn and Neptune): Another window opens for some light to come.
