November begins with a powerful Pre-Retrograde shadow of Mercury. You might have already felt it in the last few days, kind of Mercury Retrograde, but not all the way. Well, this is his shadow, showing you where you might be challenged when Mercury goes retrograde and is stationary on November 9 to November 29. The biggest issue is that Mercury is retrograding in Scorpio until November 17, which tends to be deadlier than regular Mercury retrogrades. Then he retrogrades in Sagittarius, his sign of exile, which is also uncomfortable, as he is weaker and less able to deliver your messages. But remember, retrograde planets are not voids of energy. Retrograde Mercury is great for a few things. This is from my Astrology 2026 book, Metamorphosis in Motion:
This period can offer profound intuitive insights, synchronicities, dreams, faith-healing, manifestation, and the recovery of lost items or forgotten ideas.
Avoid: Starting new projects, signing important documents, making major purchases, traveling without careful preparation, launching marketing campaigns, or initiating significant communications. Since Mercury is also the ruler of Virgo, while he retrogrades, be extra careful of your health and diet. Additionally, you might experience sudden changes in routine as well as challenges with coworkers, employees, and your pets.
Focus on: Revisiting past projects, editing, reevaluating plans, reconnecting with past acquaintances, backing up data, and focusing on intuition and inner communication.
Mercury retrogrades usually three times a year for about three weeks each time. There are five stages to any retrograde planet, but in the case of Mercury, I recommend paying attention to the pre- and post-retrograde shadows of Mercury.
However, the whole month is blessed by a wonderful trine (harmonious aspect) between Jupiter (expanssion and opportuinities) and Saturn (focus). In Kabbalah these two planets are related to Mercy and Understanding, the mixure of compassion and dicipline. So try to get as much as you can done, surfing this flow, before Mercury retrograde helps you refine, rexamine, and redirect yourself before the end of the year.
IMPORTANT DATES:
November 1–December 4 (Jupiter trine Saturn): This aspect started on October 30 and will continue throughout the month. Sometimes we need to thank our lucky stars for retrograding since this is the reason we enjoy this helpful aspect for such a long time. Jupiter provides opportunities while Saturn lends his focus and manifestation skills to bring these blessings into reality. You find joy in your chores. Despite the looming Mercury retrograde, this month can bring a great deal of success and positivity.
November 2–3 (Venus square Jupiter): Beware of issues in finances and love, indulgence, and gluttony. You might feel enslaved to pleasure or a need to satisfy someone who can never get satiated. This aspect can bring about wastefulness and needless expenses.
November 3–5 (Mars opposite Uranus): Be extra careful of accidents and mishaps involving aggression, impatience, speed, or sharp objects. You might experience erratic behavior that doesn’t make sense, as well as gadgets and machines breaking or malfunctioning. The robot is out of control.
November 3–5 (Mars trine Neptune): While Mars might not get along with Uranus the scientist, he is having a ball with Neptune, the mystic. Another benevolent aspect is forming, helping us soar into mystical heights. Action is guided by empathy and intuition. You might do things that, in hindsight, appeared guided by psychic premonition. This is a great aspect for any form of movement that can balance and connect you to your true self.
November 4 (Mars enters Sagittarius until December 15): Mars loves Sagittarius, where he can practice riding horses, motorbikes, or anything that allows him to travel at speed. This is a call for adventure and an expedition. Your Mars wants you to conquer, hunt, and expand your knowledge.
November 5 (Full Moon in Taurus): This is a powerful exalted Full Moon. It’s an opportune time to bring something into completion. Since the lunation is on the 13th degree of Scorpio, it carries a powerful connection to love and oneness (the Gematria value of 13). Spend time in nature and indulge your five senses.
November 6 (Venus enters Scorpio until November 30): Venus in her sign of exile can cause us to feel alone or unwanted, possessive, and jealous. However, it’s a good time to focus on your partner’s money and talents rather than your own. Look into your investments as there might be a need to make some adjustments.
November 7–8 (Venus square Pluto): This aspect can create tension in your primary relationships and contacts. Manipulation, power struggles, and breakups. Navigate your intimate relations with caution and choose your investments of time, energy, and money wisely.
November 8 (Uranus returns to Taurus until April 26, 2026): Uranus was in Taurus from 2018, and this is his final visit to Taurus in the next 84 years. Expect changes in finances, fluctuations in cryptocurrency, and new ways of expressing artistic talents.
November 9–10 (Mercury Stationary): Here we go again, things are starting to stand still. It’s a great day for doing things you want to last forever, so be mindful.
November 11 (Mercury retrograde until December 1): Avoid signing documents or starting new projects. This retrograde dances on the cusp of Sagittarius (where Mercury overthinks) to Scorpio (where he’s secretive). Avoid signing documents, starting new projects, and initiating anything unless you tried to do so before and failed to accomplish.
November 12–13 (Mercury conjunct Mars): Mercury in exile is aggravated by Mars, which can cause us to communicate in an aggressive way. It’s a good time for therapy, reflecting on your anger issues, and voicing yourself in a different way.
November 16–17 (Sun trine Jupiter and Saturn): A beautiful triangle of protection in the middle of a chaotic month. The Sun brings vitality and power to your projects. This aspect can help in physical healing and deliver a new sense of direction. Philosophy and wisdom abound.
November 19 (Mercury trine Neptune): Logic and reason are in service of intuition and empathy. This is a great aspect for communicating in an imaginative and creative way. You will feel like you are channeling information from beyond. You are gaining a deeper understanding of life.
November 19 (Mercury enters Scorpio until December 10): Mercury returns to Scorpio as he retrogrades back into the Underworld. Good for investigations and finding lost objects and people.
November 20 (Sun conjunct Mercury): This continues the positive aspect of communication and business that started on November 19. Intellectual clarity and good connections with powerful people.
November 20 (New Moon in Scorpio): A great time to investigate your passions, what you really want in life, and what you wish to transform. It’s a good New Moon to initiate projects that need shared resources, talents, or funding. However, since Mercury is retrograde, you can only start things you already did in the past and failed to bring to completion. This is an opportune time to initiate healing, therapy, a shamanistic journey, or an investigation. The New Moon is getting a boost from Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune, which bless this lunation with structure and focus, imagination and inspiration, and a great deal of open-mindedness.
November 21 (Sun Opposite Uranus): Revolutions, calls for change, and disruptions. Leaders, bosses, and the self-employed could have a problematic day. On the other hand, there is a great deal of originality and innovation.
November 22 (Sun enters Sagittarius until December 21): For the next 30 days, we are all centaurs, shooting arrows to the stars. Sagittarius is the time of the year when we have the strongest connection to our higher self or guardian angel. This is a month for teaching, mentoring, learning, speaking your truth, mass media, publishing, and connecting to foreigners and in-laws.
November 23 (Sun trines Neptune; Mercury trines Jupiter and Saturn; Jupiter trines Saturn): What a busy day, and mind you, busy at being great. Today you can further your goals in almost all aspects of life.
November 25 (Mercury conjunct Venus): A great day for relationships, generating possibilities that can augment your finances, talents, and gifts. This is a blessed day for promoting yourself and expressing how you can make the world a better place.
November 26–27 (Venus trine Jupiter and Saturn): It’s a great time for relationships, especially with teachers or people who are older than you. This is an opportune time for improving your position with bosses and superiors. This aspect brings luck and fortune.
November 28 (Venus conjunct Lilith): Be extra careful with all your relationships and partners in work or personal life. A three-sided relationship might form around you. Beware of stalkers, gossip, enemies, and lawsuits.
November 29 (Venus opposite Uranus): Meetings with highly intelligent but rather strange people might occur. There could be some unexpected challenges and oppositions with partners or relations.
November 30 (Venus in Sagittarius until December 24): Venus is putting on her safari outfit and is ready with her overpacked luggage for an exotic journey. This is a great time for connecting with educators, foreigners, and travel abroad. It’s an opportunity to improve relationships with in-laws.
