Astrological Highlights of November

Welcome to Scorpio Season, the time of witches and warlocks, enchantresses and wizards, the twilight of the year, and the time of shedding. November kicks off with a powerful and somewhat benevolent New Moon in Scorpio, protected by a harmonious aspect between Mars in Cancer (action guided by feeling), Neptune (mysticism and imagination), and Mercury (communication). The tarot card for Scorpio is “Death,” so having the New Moon as a sign of death and resurrection right on the Day of the Dead is encouraging and appropriate. November 1st is a great day to start something new related to intimacy, passion, sexuality, letting go (diet, detox), joint artistic and financial projects, investigation, research, and the occult. In other words – magic is in the air…
On Wednesday, the 30th, Halloween Eve, I’m leading a webinar on death and dying, the afterlife, and past lifetime regression. A recording is available.
Before we dive into the important days in November, most of you know my new book on the astrology of 2025, Shedding Shadow, is out. If I might be so bold as to suggest, the book could be an uplifting gift for the Holiday Season. If you purchase my book and write a review, I will send you (or whoever you gifted the book) a signed author bookplate and a Kabbalistic Red String that was blessed in the cave of Elijah, Mount Carmel.

I made a video presenting the book and the year ahead. Thanks a lot to all of you who have been reading my yearly books since 2018 and thus encouraged me to continue writing them!
And now for the Important days in November:
November 1 (New Moon in Scorpio): What a nice synchronicity, the lunar month synced with the calendar one. A great time to investigate your passions, what you really want in life, what you wish to transform, and start today. A good New Moon to initiate projects that need shared resources, talents, or funding. An opportune time to initiate healing, therapy, a shamanistic journey, or an investigation. The New Moon is getting a boost from Saturn which blesses anything you begin today with discipline, determination, and success.
November 1 – 2 (Mercury trine Mars): Words are backed by action. You can truly excel today in communication, leadership, coming up with good ideas, and a new strategy. Collaborations with brothers and sisters in arms. In addition, Mercury is also blessing Neptune which adds intuition and emotional clarity to the mix. A day imagination, intelligence, and action come together to support your projects.
November 1 – 6 (Mars opposite Pluto): The two rulers of Scorpio, the sign of death and transformation, are pitted against each other. That can’t be good. Anything can spark arguments and discord, so be extra careful. You might have to confront a powerful enemy or adversary.
November 2 (Mercury enters Sagittarius until Jan 8): Mercury is staying long in his sign of exile since he will be retrograding at the end of the month. You might feel a bit absent-minded and distracted. A good time for traveling and doing business with foreigners. Stick to the truth and avoid liars and half-truths.
November 3 (Venus opposite Jupiter): Be careful of the tendency to please everyone, especially your partner in work or life. Avoid spending or being overly generous with the wrong people. Focus instead on creativity, art, generating beauty, and spending time outdoors.
November 4 (Mars enters Leo until January 6): Mars is about to go retro on us in December so pay attention. While in Leo, Mars is full of courage and valor. You can move mountains, like Hanuman did when he helped Rama and Sita. Great for sports, entertainment, giving a mind-blowing presentation, and achieving your goals. Be mindful of your ego.
November 4 – 6 (Sun trine Saturn): This is good news in the otherwise tame start of November. There is a sense you can reconnect to discipline, focus, and success. You should be able to declare some victory today, especially in connection with work, career, or dealing with superiors. Long-term projects can benefit from this aspect.
November 9 (Venus square Neptune): Be mindful of your financial dealings today as there is deception and illusion in the air. Boundaries with your close relationships need to be reestablished. There could be betrayal, disappointments, and a sense of abandonment.
November 11 (Venus enters Capricorn until December 7): This transit of Venus favors relationships with people who are older or more mature than you. With investments and financial dealings, go for long-term deals. There could be patterns resurfacing in your primary relationships as well as insecurities acting out. Be skeptical about your skepticism if it comes up in respect to your finances, love, and creativity.
November 12 (Mercury square Saturn): Communications are off today. Pressure at work or from figures of authority gets to you. There is danger in theft, lies, and discord. It is a mini-Mercury retro day as people could misinterpret your words and intentions.
November 15 (Full Moon in Taurus): This is a powerful Full Moon as the Moon is exalted in Taurus. A wonderful time to bring something to completion. There is a bit of tension between your finances and those of your partner in life or work. Uranus is adding a bit of madness and unpredictability to the lunation, so be extra careful.
November 16 – 18 (Sun opposite Uranus): Your self-expression might come out stranger than normal these couple of days. Looks like no matter what you do, someone somewhere would call you “crazy.” However, you might find yourself getting strange but perhaps ingenious ideas. There could be arguments or fights with friends today. But in a few days, it could be resolved and healed.
November 17 – 18 (Mercury opposite Jupiter): Your left and right hemispheres are fighting over who should guide you. Or maybe it’s the angel and devil sitting on your shoulders. Keep your cards close to you and don’t divulge your plans. Talk less and absorb info more.
November 18 – 19 (Sun trine Neptune): These are wonderfully magical days with heightened imagination, lucid vivid dreams, and lots of psychic hits. There is empathy, kindness, and compassion in the air. Great for creative and mystical undertakings.

November 20 (Pluto returns to Aquarius until 2044): That’s it, Pluto finally settles in his new home for two decades. Revolutions, technological quantum leaps, A.I., and quantum computing breakthroughs, as well as biological computers, are destined to push to the forefront of our lives. As always, when such a planet walks into a new sign, its effects and influence are strong, abrupt, and intense, especially when we are talking about Pluto.
November 21 (Sun enters Sagittarius until December 21): We are all centaurs for the next 30 days, shooting arrows to the stars. Sagittarius is the time of the year when we have the strongest connection to our higher self or guardian angel. This month is for teaching and learning, refining your creed and philosophy, and practicing generosity and kindness. Think of Indiana Jones as the inspiration for being a great Sagittarius.
November 21 – 22 (Sun sextile Pluto): A little sliding door is opening allowing you to connect to a powerful person that could potentially help you or your projects. A good day to meet an investor or someone that can promote your work.
November 23 (2025 Workshop): The first workshop on the Astrology of 2025 in person (WeHo) or over a webinar (recording available). We discuss the major trends, retros, eclipses, New Year’s Resolution dates, and other twists and turns of the year ahead. To register click HERE
November 25 (Sun trine North Node): Good karma is landing on you today. It is a great aspect for learning, absorbing information, being inspired, and uplifting. You will be shown what your soul desires from you in the next year.
November 25 – 26 (Mercury stationary): We experience the full force of Mercury when he’s stationary, overloaded with thoughts, information, things we must accomplish. However, take your time and do everything slowly to a standstill these days.
November 26 – 27 (Sun trine Mars): A great way to end the month with the Sun guiding your passion, action, and energy forward. The warrior within you can achieve success. A good day to ask for a raise, and fight for things you believe in.
November 28 (Mercury retrograde until December 17): Avoid signing documents or starting new projects. Since Mercury is retrograding in his sign of exile, it can be a bit more difficult. There could be international scandals or issues with teachers, mentors, education, and travel. Be careful not to sound too preachy or fanatical.
I am really concerned about Mars opposing Pluto the first part of November as the election is Nov.5. If Trump loses there will be a lot of violence and if Trump wins, I fear for the United States.
Also, I’m cancelling my Amazon subscriptions due to The Washington Post failing to endorse Harris and I don’t want to have Jeff Bezos profiting by even a penny of my money. Besides, it’s time to stop supporting Chinese vendors and buy from American businesses.
I did order the book last year from Apple Books. I don’t think you have it with other book sellers like Barnes and Noble – I really prefer your book as a hard copy.
Hello,
I share your concern and yes, I believe there will be issues this election. Send me an email via contact here and I will mail you a hard copy so you can gift the one you have to someone else
